This past Sunday the world set aside time to watch that great game of foolishness known as the Super Bowl. One day out of the year when there is more hype from the religious world over a mere game than we will see from them over God's blessings for the other 364 days.

The game and everything that goes along with it is pure evil to the core. Studies have shown a drastic increase in prostitution, illegal drug use, alcoholism, domestic abuse, just to name a few, during that weekend.

In the past few decades the commercials played on television during the game have become all the rage. Commercials promoting drunkenness, rude and vile talk and off-color jokes.

God's people will set and watch this filth and claim it has no effect on them what soever. No thought to the fact that they are pumping pornography and other demonic dealings into their minds and the minds of those watching with them.

Why? Because we refuse to seek the kingdom and righteousness of God first! On the day set aside to worship our Lord and Savior there is more attention given to the lust of life than to our Heavenly Father. Then we wonder why God with-holds His blessings to us and to His churches.

Child of God, seek the things above and flee the worldly lust of this life!!! Follow Christ and if you truly love Him follow His commandments!!!
