rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in

Yesterday was
the seventh day of the week. Saturday. Did you get some rest? Today is the
start of a new week. Sunday is not a day of rest but the day to gather to
worship for the Lord's churches. Where will you be? What will you be doing
today?
John 20:1-2

1The first day of the
week
cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and
seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre. 2Then she runneth,
and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and
saith unto them, They have taken away the LORD out of the sepulchre, and we
know not where they have laid him.”
Why have the
Lord's churches traditionally held their worship services on Sunday, or the
first day of the week? Because this was the day our Lord and Savior rose from
the dead.
Acts 20:7

Where will you
be today? Are you the member of one of the Lord's churches? If so where will
you be when your brothers and sisters gather to worship? Look to Christ
today!!! Follow Him in all things today and everyday.

Praying for my dear brother in Christ and long time friend Bro. Randy Johnson, Pastor of Sovereign Grace Missionary Baptist Church in Texarkana, TX and his family as they say have the funeral for his dear wife, Donna today. I pray our Lord will bring you all comfort and peace during your time of grief.

How is it with you today? Do you cling to Christ or to life in this world? Where is your hope? Is it in your earthly friends and family or in your Heavenly Father? Look to Jesus Christ today.

Oh what a promise we have from our Lord for the short time we are here in this life! The Great Comforter, The Holy Spirit of God, who dwells within His people and provides us with comfort and peace in this life and gives us faith and hope in the things to come in the next life.

13 And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves.
