Joshua 24:15
“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you
this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that
were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land
ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
O child of God, who will you serve today? Are the lust of
the world and the pride of life more important to you than being in the
congregation of the Lord today? Sunday sports? Time with family and/or friends?
Sleep? Yard work? What will keep you from serving our Lord and Savior today?
I know there are those who physically can't be with one of
the Lord's churches today. But how many of us have no real excuse?
O worship the Lord on the day He has set aside for us to do
so!
Praise ye the Lord!!!
