Morning Devotional September 11, 2018

John 16:33

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

Where is your hope and trust today? Is it in the things of this world? Government? Politicians? Your Pastor?

Our only true hope is in Christ Jesus. He alone can we put all our trust. Follow Christ today. Leave behind the cares of this life and flee to Him. Lean on Him when troubled and in doubt or fear. Praise Him for only He is worthy!!!

By the grace of God I am a Landmark Sovereign Grace Baptist Minister. I was born and raised in Northeast Texas. I lived in Texas until Sept. 2014 when I moved to the Richmond, VA area after accepting a transfer with my secular job. In April 2018 I accepted the call to Pastor King's Addition Baptist Church in South Shore, KY. In October 2018 my wife and I moved to Wheelersburg, OH to be close to the church. In 2013 while I was working with the King's Addition Baptist Mission in Fort Smith, NWT, Canada, I was asked to write daily devotionals for the mission members. As word got out about these devotionals I started receiving request from others who wanted to receive these every day. A very good friend suggested I put these in a blog for others to see. I hope and pray the Lord blesses you with what He has given me to share.
