1 John 3:18
“My little children, let us not love in word, neither in
tongue; but in deed and in truth.”
How many of us love our brothers and sisters in Christ “in
deed and in truth?” How often do we show our love for them? Do they know if we
pray for them? Is our love sincere or just because we are told to love?
Our Lord spoke often of loving one another in His Word. So
obviously it was very important to Him that we love one another. Is our love
for one another just as important to us? Do we not seek the love of others
ourselves? Then why do we neglect something that should come so easy and should
be common place in our lives?
O child of God, love your brothers and sisters sincerely.
Show them the love Christ has given you for them. Let them know you pray often
for them.
Praise ye the Lord!!!
