1 John 1:9
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive
us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
Though wee have the Holy Spirit of God living within us, we
still live in a body of flesh. That body of flesh is still tempted and can and
will commit sin. Our Lord commands us to confess our sins. He commands us to
repent of our sins. Why? Because we still live in the flesh and still sin. We
have not yet reach perfection nor will we in this life. That perfection does
not come until we leave this old fleshly body behind. Praise God He is faithful
to forgive us our sins!!! Praise God for His loving kindness to us His
people!!! Praise God “He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins.”
Praise ye the Lord!!!
