Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Morning Devotional April 23, 2023

Psalm 28:7

“The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.”

Are you praising the Lord for Him being who He says He is? Are you rejoicing in Him for being what He promised?

Where is your trust this morning? On whom is your rejoicing and praise focused? On the Lord or yourself or the world?

If you are a child of God these questions should have but one answer. But do they?

Praise ye the Lord!!!

By the grace of God I am a Landmark Sovereign Grace Baptist Minister. I was born and raised in Northeast Texas. I lived in Texas until Sept. 2014 when I moved to the Richmond, VA area after accepting a transfer with my secular job. In April 2018 I accepted the call to Pastor King's Addition Baptist Church in South Shore, KY. In October 2018 my wife and I moved to Wheelersburg, OH to be close to the church. In 2013 while I was working with the King's Addition Baptist Mission in Fort Smith, NWT, Canada, I was asked to write daily devotionals for the mission members. As word got out about these devotionals I started receiving request from others who wanted to receive these every day. A very good friend suggested I put these in a blog for others to see. I hope and pray the Lord blesses you with what He has given me to share.
