Morning Devotional January 23, 2015

Jeremiah 17:7

“Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.”

Do you trust in the Lord? Is He your hope? For without that trust in Him we have no hope. What a blessing it is to know He put that trust and hope in us when we had no trust or hope.

Praise ye the Lord!!!

Morning Devotional January 22, 2015

Psalm 3:8

“Salvation belongeth unto the Lord: thy blessing is upon thy people.”

Praise the Lord for His salvation! This should be our number one praise every morning and our last praise every evening. Without His salvation we have nothing!

To know that we have been saved from eternal hell and damnation. To know we are His people because of His chosing and salvation. To know that, as His children, we are prescious in His sight.

Oh what a glorious thought to know with out a doubt we are His and He is ours!

Praise ye the Lord!!!

Morning Devotional January 21, 2015

Psalm 106:1

“Praise ye the Lord. O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.”

Praise ye the Lord for His goodness and mercy!!! Praise Him and thank Him continually!
We have so much to praise and thank our Lord for. Just the fact that His love is for ever is enough to glory in His name continually.
As His children and joint heirs with His only begotten Son Jesus Christ we should be on our knees before Him in prayer and praise throughout the whole day.
What a glorious thought to know that we are His forever and forever!!!

Praise ye the Lord!!!

Morning Devotional January 20, 2015

Romans 8:38-39

“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Praise the Lord for His unsepartable love for us! Oh that we would have this love for one another. Oh that we, as God's children, would learn from the love that our Heavenly Father has for us. So that we would show a simular love to our brothers and sisters in Christ. Our love for each other should be an earthly example of our Heavenly Father's love for us.
So many times we fail inthis love for others. So many times we refuse to forgive others as He has forgiven us.
We should remember our brothers and sisters in our prayers. They need it just as much as we do.
Count it an honor to be able to pray for others. It is our duty as family to bring our siblings before the throne of grace.

Praise ye the Lord!!!

Morning Devotional January 19, 2015

Romans 8:35

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?”

What or who can separate us from our Savior's love? Nothing nor nobody!!! Praise the Lord!!! for this truth! Ther is nothing anyone can do to us. There is nothing we can do ourselves that can take us from the love of Jesus Christ! Forever and forever.
Though this world with it's tribulations and persecutions distress us daily. Though we may be physically starved and without clothing or a roof over our heads. Though we may meet death by peril or by sword. His love is always with us. Never faultering. Never failing. Never abandoning us.
The love that Christ has bestowed upon us is eternal. It is everlasting. It is forevermore.
Though we sin against Him on a daily basis. His love for us continues.
Though we try to run towards perils. Though we deny His very presence at times. He is there. Everready to prove His love for us. Never leaving us alone. Praise God He never leaves us alone!!!

Praise ye the Lord!!!

Morning Devotional January 18, 2015

Romans 8:30
"Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified."

What a glorious thought to know we are the called of our Heavenly Father!!! To know He chose us before the foundations of the world to be His children. To know that it was in His glorious, sovereign plan to save us from hell through the blood of His Son. To know He predestinated us to His sovereign plan way back in eternity past. Before He spoke anything into existence He chose us to be His child. A joint heir with His only begotten Son.
What love is this that the God of all creation would choose us to such an inheritance? What love is this that even Him knowing before the world was created that we would fail Him multiple times a day? Yet He still loves us. No matter the sin. No matter the number of sins. He still loves us and keeps us in His fold.
And even knowing this we still fail Him.
What poor, pitiful examples we set for those around us. What disobedient children we are.
And yet, He still loves us.

Praise ye the Lord!!!

Morning Devotional January 1st, 2015

Psalm 118:6
“The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?”

Praise the Lord He is on our side!!!
What should we fear? Whom should we fear? Only the fear of the Lord should we have. For He is on our side.
Verse 8 says “It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.”
All our trust should be in the Lord. We have no right to put confidence in a man. Only the Lord deserves our confidence. Only the Lord deserves our trust. Man will fail us but our Lord is faithful and true.
Watch for those who would draw us away from the Lord and unto their own teaching. Watch for those who would seek to weaken our faith and trust in our Lord.
Corruption is all around us. Yet our Lord tells us He is on our side.
Remember this Psalm:
Psalm 23
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.”
With our Lord on on our side we have no need to fear anything that may come our way in this life. Not even death or destruction are we to fear. For the Great Shepherd walks with us, protects us, and when it is His time, takes us home to everlasting peace.

Praise ye the Lord!!!
