Romans 8:28
“And we know that all things work together
for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his
purpose.”
What a glorious thought, to know that all
things work together for good to them that love God!!! What a wonderful God we
serve. What a gracious and merciful Heavenly Father we have. He tells us that
no matter what it is in our life. What we think is good or bad. It is His
working to our good.
Why? Because we love Him. But notice He says
“to them who are the called according to his purpose.” So even though He works
all things to our good, He loved us first. He loved us enough to call us to Him
and to adopt us into His family. We did not initiate this love. He did. And it
was all according to His purpose. All so He could get the glory and the praise
for it all.
Praise God He called us. Praise God He chose
us. Praise God He did not leave us to our own devises. What a sad shape we
would be in if He had not called us.
Praise ye the Lord!!!
