I Thessalonians 5:17
“Pray without ceasing.”
Prayer. What a wonderful thing our Heavenly
Father has given us. In many places in the scripture we are told to pray. Not
just for the good or just for the bad. But for everything give thanks, He says.
What a joy to know we can go to our Father anytime day or night. We can stay in
continual prayer with Him all through out the day and night. When we are weak
or when we are strong. We know we can go to Him for help, comfort, advice,
guidance, to praise Him, to give thanks, to ask for forgiveness, etc. There are
so many different things we can pray for. So many ways we can pray.
Oh what a comfort to be able to go to our
Heavenly Father in prayer and know that He listens and cares about what we
pray. Oh what a blessing when we don't know the words to say and we ask for
those words and He gives them. He knows our desires our wants and our needs.
He answers those prayers according to His
will and His plan and whatever the answer He will get the glory.
If you are a child of God I encourage you to
pray with out ceasing. When you are going through a trial; pray without
ceasing. When you are struggling with sin in your life; pray without ceasing.
When you are having a time of prosperity; pray without ceasing. When you are
full of joy and the Lord has bestowed many blessings on you; pray without
ceasing.
Praise ye the Lord!!!
