Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Morning Devotional April 17, 2016

Philippians 4:8

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

As the children of God we must keep our thoughts on the things of God. Fore if we don't satan will slip in and put our thoughts on the things of this world and the lusts thereof. Everything we do and say and think must be on the things of our Lord.

Praise ye the Lord!!!

By the grace of God I am a Landmark Sovereign Grace Baptist Minister. I was born and raised in Northeast Texas. I lived in Texas until Sept. 2014 when I moved to the Richmond, VA area after accepting a transfer with my secular job. In April 2018 I accepted the call to Pastor King's Addition Baptist Church in South Shore, KY. In October 2018 my wife and I moved to Wheelersburg, OH to be close to the church. In 2013 while I was working with the King's Addition Baptist Mission in Fort Smith, NWT, Canada, I was asked to write daily devotionals for the mission members. As word got out about these devotionals I started receiving request from others who wanted to receive these every day. A very good friend suggested I put these in a blog for others to see. I hope and pray the Lord blesses you with what He has given me to share.
