Psalm 18:30
“As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is
tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.”
Child of God, in whom is your trust today? Are you trusting
in the world? A Politician? Your job? The news media? School? Or is it in
religion? A pastor or preacher? A certain church? Or is your trust in yourself?
Yes, our Lord gives us these things and more to guide us and
direct us in this world. All these things must be used to His glory and not to
the glory of the thing or the person itself. It is our Lord who hath given us
these things and not they themselves.
Look to the one whose way is perfect and whose Word is tried
and true. Lean on Him who will give us peace and joy in our everyday life while
we are here. Put all your trust in Him who is Sovereign over all things and in
all things. For it is by our Lord and by our Lord only that we are who we are
and where we are and whose we are.
Praise ye the Lord!!!
