Deuteronomy 31:8
“And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be
with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be
dismayed.”
O what a promise our Lord has given us if we will follow
Him!!! He promises to always be with us and to never leave us. He promises to
give us no cause to fear who and what is around us. Yet, as sinful, rebellious
men we constantly run from our Lord and forget He is our Great Comforter in this
life. We stray and wander and fear our surroundings. But God, is still there
with us. As He promised. He says He will never leave us nor forsake us.
At times it takes His chastisement to straighten us out. But
with is mercy and love He spares not the rod of correction. All for His glory
and our good.
Follow Christ today. Leave behind the lust of the flesh and
the desires of this world and follow Christ. Rejoice in His promises.
Praise ye the Lord!!!
