Hebrews 13:15-16
“15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of
praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his
name.
16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for
with such sacrifices God is well pleased.”
As children of
God our main goal in life should be to do whatever it takes to please our
Heavenly Father. Yet, often times, it appears to those around us that we know
not who we serve. Often times, the fruit of our lips is complaining and/or fear
about what is going on around us. Often times, we seem to be more into
following the world than following after our Heavenly Father. Where is our
giving of thanks to God? Where is our sacrifices of praise for the One who
saved our unworthy souls from our sins and gave us eternal life?
Let us not
forget who we serve and that it is only God who deserves our sacrifices of
praise and our giving of thanks for all things.
Praise ye the
Lord!!!
