Matthew 12:40
“For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.”
Jesus said He would be “in the heart of the earth” 3 days and 3 nights. Why are so many who claim to be “Christian” dead set on changing the very Word of God by claiming He died on Friday and Rose on Sunday? The poorest witness a child of God can have is to deny the very Word of God as truth. Whether we know it or not, the unsaved world is listening and watching this false witness. Many are astounded at the lack of knowledge of the Word of God we claim to proclaim and the foolishness of our basic math skills.
Child of God, forget the doctrines of devils being proclaimed by the religious world and follow the truth. If you love Jesus Christ, follow His commandments and follow not after the false doctrines that draw people away from the truth of the Gospel.
