Revelation 4:11

“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”

What a glorious God we serve!!! All deserving of our glory and honour and praise.
Notice in this verse John writes “for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” Our Lord created all things. There is nothing that is that was not created by Him. And why did He create all things? For His pleasure.
The age old question from man has been “Why am I here? What is my purpose of being?” Well, if you are a child of God, the reason for being here and your purpose in this life and beyond is to give glory, honour, and praise to your Heavenly Father.
But what about those who are not children of God? What is their purpose? Does the verse not say “for thy pleasure they are and were created.”? So then are not the children of this world not also here for His glory, honour, and power?
Think on this: if unsaved man is not in the family of God then what is his purpose for being here? What purpose does he serve the One who created him?
Simply put; the unsaved man is here for the purpose to prove that without Christ no man can come to the Father on his own. The unsaved man is proof that only God saves sinners and He only saves those whom He elected to save before the creation of all things.
Yes, unbeknownst to him, the unsaved man is here as proof of the glory, honour, and power of our Lord and Savior.
What a glorious God we serve!!! To know as His children we are so blessed to be able to give glory, honour, and praise to our Heavenly Father at any time. To know He is there waiting to receive our praise of Him. To know that the Creator of all things is our Heavenly Father.

Praise ye the Lord!!!
