Romans 8:12-14
“Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after
the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall
die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall
live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God,
they are the sons of God.”
O what a wonderful
Lord and Savior we have!!! O what a blessing to know because of Him we are the
sons and daughters of God!!!
Yet everyday we
struggle with this old sinful body we live in. The lust of the flesh and the
lust of our eyes so many times they keep us from sweet communion with our
Heavenly Father. So many times our old flesh gets between us and the One who
loved us so much He gave His only begotten Son as the sacrifice for our sins.
What a shame it is
that even though we know how He expects us to live we still fall flat on our
faces in sin and failures against Him. O that we would follow the lead of the
Holy Spirit of God and stop running in the other direction.
We must remember
who we are and whose children we are. Fore we are not our own. We are not
children of this world. We are children of The King!!! We must act
accordingly!!!
Praise ye the
Lord!!!
