Morning Devotional May 14, 2021

Psalm 33:18-22

“18 Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;

19 To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.

20 Our soul waiteth for the Lord: he is our help and our shield.

21 For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.

22 Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.”

Whom do ye fear today? The Lord or man? God the Creator or do you fear some piece of His creation more? Though trials and storms may come, as God's children, our fear must be in Him and nothing else and no one else. To fear the Lord is to love the Lord with all our hearts, bodies, and souls. But the fear of things in this life shows a love for this life more than a love for the Lord.

Where is your hope today? In the Lord or in the world?

Praise ye the Lord!!!
