John1:1
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word
was with God, and the Word was God.”
What a wonderful thought, The Word. This
verse is referring to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Living Word of God.
We commonly think of the Word of God as the Bible or His written Word. But as
we read in this verse the Word of God is much more than words written in a
book. The Word is alive and the Word has always been and always will be.
Thinking on the Holy Scripture: we see the
Word, or Jesus Christ, from the beginning in Genesis to the end of Revelations
and every place in between. He is the Holy Scripture, the Holy Scripture tell
us about Him, and the Holy Scripture was written for us, His people.
