Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Morning Devotional October 17, 2023

Psalm 7:17

“I will praise the Lord according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the Lord most high.”

With this verse I believe we can see how weak man is in his praise of the Lord. We are told to “praise the Lord according to his righteousness”. I don't believe we can fully know the depth nor the height of our Lord's righteousness while in this life. These old sinful bodies we live in are blinded to such things. We may have a small glimpse but that is all. But, even in that small glimpse, oh what glorious righteousness is revealed unto us!!!

Praise ye the Lord!!!

By the grace of God I am a Landmark Sovereign Grace Baptist Minister. I was born and raised in Northeast Texas. I lived in Texas until Sept. 2014 when I moved to the Richmond, VA area after accepting a transfer with my secular job. In April 2018 I accepted the call to Pastor King's Addition Baptist Church in South Shore, KY. In October 2018 my wife and I moved to Wheelersburg, OH to be close to the church. In 2013 while I was working with the King's Addition Baptist Mission in Fort Smith, NWT, Canada, I was asked to write daily devotionals for the mission members. As word got out about these devotionals I started receiving request from others who wanted to receive these every day. A very good friend suggested I put these in a blog for others to see. I hope and pray the Lord blesses you with what He has given me to share.
