“6 Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.”
Many in the religious world will try to use verse 6 to draw the unsaved to a false profession in Christ. But notice verse 7 says “and let him return unto the Lord”. How do you return to something you were never a part of before? In these verses the Lord is referring to a saved man who has fallen back into following the world. Notice he is wicked in his way and unrighteous in his thoughts. This could be any child of God at any given time in our lives.
Praise God if we will seek Him and call upon Him He will have mercy and pardon His own!!!
