1 John 3:1
“Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon
us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us
not, because it knew him not.”
O what love our Heavenly Father has bestowed upon us!!! To
be called the sons of God and to know it was by Him and only by Him that it is
so. O what a marvelous thought to know that our God chose us before the
foundations of the world to be His children and to be used for His honor and
glory!!!
At the same time, what a sad thing to know that the world
hates us because they first hated our Lord. To know that there are those of our
family and friends who will never understand the love we have for our Lord and
Savior because they know Him not.
O the grace and mercy of God that if it were not for Him we
would be as they !!!
Praise ye the Lord!!!
